I'm not sure I understand the title, but the concept is amazing.

Very haunting and has great contrast of colors and lighting.

ah, snap I should've explained it in the description. This piece is supposed to be an oni stealing from a heart. the colors are supposed to make it look more gross and toxic, but magical and beautiful. I wanted this piece to be a reminder that there can always be too much of a good thing. People who are very empathetic can tear themselves apart because of the feelings of others. Empathy, when it is out of control, can be like supplementing your own emotions with someone else's. I wanted to highlight that while empathy is a good thing, it's like borrowing pieces of someone's heart.
That's what the mindset behind this piece is.
