I wish I could understand this.
I wish I could understand this.
You're too hard on yourself.
It's a pretty barebones concept, sure, but it's got some nice gameplay.
I really like the idea of using score to shoot, except that without any warning it can mess you up pretty bad in the early game if you don't realize it.
I don't think the "Buddy" feature did anything at all. I only tried a couple of the weapons but Buddy didn't seem to do anything special.
I think you could make some of the early enemies slowly ramp up in difficulty, too. They're so easy for roughly 6 or so waves, then they get a lot harder right after the boss. It's kind of like practicing against a target range before going up against an elite squadron or something.
Anyway good game, but please look into those things I mentioned.
Thank you so much for the great feedback :)
I'll have a look at the things you mentioned
I really loved the soundtrack on this.
It's a simplistic little game but it has a lot of charm.
I like the unique style of health bar. The transition from pure white to slimy green was a nice touch.
I have a few gripes about the spike hitboxes; they're kind of large. Large enough to kill the player even when the player isn't technically touching them. That's annoying.
Would have really liked the ability to speed up or skip dialogue.
The hitboxes are actually not as big as they seem (they're the size of the spike image), but when colliding from the side while jumping it gives the impression that they're bigger.
Anyway, they were definitely still too big, so I've made an update with the hitboxes smaller. Ability to skip dialogue will probably be added tomorrow. Thanks for the review.
It doesn't seem to work. You might want to try figuring out if something is wrong with it, then trying to reupload it again.
Sorry, It's just Demo.
Click on the place under "ChickChick" to get in game. Control left for shooting, buddy!
Thank you for your attention!
Pause button doesn't actually pause. Sometimes the audio randomly peaks for unknown reasons.
I really like the artistic style and the brief lore given by the Drytown residents though.
I could see this being a really great game with some touching up.
It's definitely bad. So uh, good job?
thx :D
Cute, simple, enjoyable game.
You did good with this.
True to it's title, even if I have no clue what I'm looking at.
I have no claim to fame unless playing a lot of Death Stranding counts.
