I absolutely loved Jubilee and her powers. I always thought she was the coolest.

This fanart is outstanding. Really love the way you nailed her "loose fit" style of clothing.

Gosh it's been a while since the original X-Men animated series.

I like it but the perspective is a bit too extreme.

This character looks stretched out to the length of a football field.

If that's what you're going for intentionally, that's fine! I just think it's a little too over-the-top.

I'm not familiar with this guy, but I absolutely adore this art.

The lighting, the shading, the detail, it's all magnificent.

It's equal parts alien and fascinating to me.

GearGades responds:

Not knowing much about this character is normal, as the series was quite short lived: originally planned for 3 volumes, was shorten to 2 (Legends of the Dark Crystal: Garthim Wars and Trial by Fire) when Tokyo Pop America announced its shutdown. The 2 volumes came years apart.

The Manga featured 4 new Skeksis and 1 new Mystic that fill the gap about some of the unknown 8 dead Pairs pre-film:

skekVar the first General, skekLach the Collector, skekCru the Mariner and skekEer the Spy-Master, and finally urSen the Monk who was the narrator.

The Manga is no longer canon, but the series overall kept skekVar (his character was really kept unchanged in personality), skekLach (though re-invented from an evil mastermind to sickly-jaded comical relief), the Mariner was kept but reinvented and renamed to skekSa, and skekEer the Spy-Master was removed from the canon, with skekNa been the supposedly Spy-Master before becoming the Slave Master.

urSen still stay as skekLach's counterpart, but we just dunno a thing about him in the new canon.

This is wholesome joy.

She looks incredibly disappointed in the snake.

I think what stands out the most to me in this picture is the giant explosion in the background.

That tells a hell of a story.

I'm left with wondering if Naylen lost his hand, or is it just not drawn into the shot?

AkinHyena responds:

Yeah it's definitely showing a really hard fight, that day really tested Naylen's resolve as not only a soldier but as a man. Operation Fideilian Fury was his first major combat tour.

I really like this, but the background is maybe just a bit TOO empty.

However, I do really love the white outline that she has around her. Very stylistically pretty!

drake-rex responds:

Yeah, I had no idea what kind of background could work, so I went witha vector and the white outline to give her a sticker type look ^^

This is really good, but Shantae seems to stand out the most of the characters in the group.

She doesn't look bad, she just stands out a bit stylistically. Most of the characters have smoother, rounded off features in most places but her eyes and hair almost harshly contrast everyone else.

Maybe I'm just nitpicking. Still! I do really like this.

3DylanStar responds:

Appreciate the feedback though, even if that is nitpicking.

This is some great stuff.

It's an extremely good homage to the Darkest Dungeon style.

This is cool. You did a great job with the shadows and the detail of her clothing.

Looking more closely, I can see some of the subtle lighting as well.

Top notch! Giving you high marks on this for your extremely good use of lighting and shadow.

Frobee responds:

Thank you!! <3

I have no claim to fame unless playing a lot of Death Stranding counts.
